Zora Alive! @ the Library

As part of The Charleston County Big Read, don't miss Zora Alive! starring Phyllis McEwen as Zora Neale Hurston. Hear stories and songs Hurston collected in the 1920s and 30s when she worked for the Works Progress Administration.

Ms. McEwen is a poet, actor, scholar and librarian who has portrayed Hurston across Florida in more than 100 cities since 1990. She has also performed in New York, Maryland, Delaware, South Carolina, and in Washington, DC at the Library of Congress.
